On September 7, 2025, with the motto of promoting tourism in Bhaktapur, Bhaktapur Municipality successfully organized the Pond Circuit Route with the active participation and support of HAB, NAC, NTB, BTDC, Nepal Police, Bhaktapur Association of Cottage and Small Industries, Tourist Police, and Tourist Guides.
The event warmly welcomed both international and domestic tourists, generating great enthusiasm throughout the journey. The route guided participants through a series of both small and large historic ponds, beginning from Chyamasing and concluding at Bhajya Pukhu.
The program successfully attracted around 1,000 visitors, culminating in a vibrant closing ceremony that celebrated Bhaktapur’s rich cultural and natural heritage.
